MGPA is a private equity real estate fund management company providing investment management services to investors seeking exposure to the Asian and European real estate markets. Operating through its 11 worldwide offices this rapidly expanding business combine the local knowledge of their real estate professionals based throughout Asia and Europe, with the broad global perspectives gained through operating in two major economic regions, to develop their strategies and identify investment opportunities.
Challenge With different HR systems being deployed and maintained at each of the existing 11 locations there was an inability to affect global changes on important HR administrative functions or to have overall control over what was being delivered to employees through self-service functionality. With an ever growing workforce, this meant that it was increasingly difficult to manage, monitor or influence key management standards and controls which would dictate a consistent approach across the diverse workforce. MGPA also required a Microsoft .NET application that would cater for their global requirements whilst having the ability to empower local users. Solution Vizual HR.net was chosen over other software vendor offerings because of a number of key requirements. Whilst utilising much of the standard functionality within HR.net, they also have some very specific requirements which meant that they needed a system that was to be considered '100% fit for purpose'. Following some assistance with the overall set-up and configuration we have delivered training to users on how to utilise the HR.net administration tools enabling themselves to further enhance, change and develop the system ongoing. The multi language capability within HR.net has given them the ability to create a single HR system which will cater for the HR Administration needs for 11 separate countries. The employee community portals they create will publish information, self-service requests and policies and procedures which are appropriate to each geographical location, allowing them to roll out information to any user in their chosen language. |
