As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting your uses of Vizual software products, we will be contacting all of our clients throughout June and July to arrange a 'Software Review Meeting'.
The primary purpose of the review meeting is to examine your existing system and make recommendations as to how you, the user, can get the best use out of your Vizual software. The format of the review meeting will change depending on the product involved however the fundamental objectives are the same.
Over time, a poorly managed Vizual system will accrue any amount of spurious data. The purpose of the review is to make recommendations as to how to ensure that your Vizual system is performing optimally.
This will include reviewing:
Screen Design - ensuring that screen and field customisatons are appropriate, maintain a logical structure and allow ease of data input and retrieval.
Pick Lists - check that both types of pick lists are being used appropriately and maintained correctly.
Workstation set up – are the workstations running all of the required patches, latest versions etc for baseline operation?
User Configuration – ensuring that users are set up with security that reflects the way they use the system, and that there is consistency in this set up.
Database maintenance - are databases being correctly backed up / optimised?
